Academics
Informatics is an interdisciplinary concentration (major) that features courses from the College of Engineering, the College of Literature, Science, & the Arts, and the School of information.
The concentration requires 44 credit hours for completion, including:
- 4 core courses (15 credits)
- 3-5 track courses (between 11 and 16 credits)
- 3-6 elective courses (between 9 and 18 credits)
Students completing a degree in Informatics will graduate from the College of Literature, Science, & the Arts, where the concentration is formally housed.
